The Executive Secretariat for Integral Development’s self study CD Course, Cadastre Management is now available.
The contents of the course have been developed by experts and professionals of land title registration management in Latin America to promote efficient and updated information as well as to improve abilities and techniques on this subject.

MDG Americas Award for Excellence in Public Service, 2007
The MDG-Americas Award 2007 pays tribute to public officials from national and local governments which have implemented successful projects/best practices in the eight areas of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals

SEDI United Nations Millennium Development Goalsupports municipalities in Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Paraguay by donating geospatial software for ESRI cadastre.

OAS/ESRI Sign GIS Strategic Alliance
The OAS announces strategic alliance with ESRI. Ambassador Alfonso Quiñónez, the OAS’s Executive Secretary for Integral Development (SEDI) and Jack Dangermond, President of ESRI signed the agreement.

Training in Modernization Strategies
SEDI, in coordination with USAID/Guatemala, announces the certification of the graduates of the on-line course Introduction to the Formulation of Electronic Government Strategies in its thirteenth edition.

Computers for Communities announces result of call for pilot project proposals. El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Jamaica, Paraguay and Venezuela to receive US$30,000 in seed funds for the development of a computer refurbishing pilot project in their countries.

General assistant directorship of Systems and Telecommunications
Argentina

This program is implemented by the Federal Administration of Public Income (AFIP for its acronym in Spanish) and it is part of an initiative to modernize the National Public Administration of Argentina. The program’s website facilitates institutional information, terms and deadlines, planning programs and other relevant documents. It also offers the possibility of paying online the income tax, processing the authorization to print sale receipts and consulting on custom procedures.
